I am a practising barrister-at-law. a FCIS, an International Tax Affiliate and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors. My practice areas cover various aspects of civil, corporate, banking, employment and commercial law. I have worked on numerous finance and structured finance transactions involving international banks, financial institutions and other multinational corporations. I worked at a law firm specialised in corporate law for over 10 years and last occupied the position of Partner there and since 2018 I am a sole practitioner. I advise several domestic and foreign companies on financial regulations, structuring and company law compliance matters and have acquired expertise in the drafting and vetting of legal documents. I have appeared in various disciplinary committees. I am also a qualified trainer and have given various in-house and public courses on legal topics, including but not limited to employment law, data protection, insolvency, company law and securities. I also provide company secretarial services including incorporation of companies and drafting of constitutive documents.
