The main reason many of us join a network is to get referrals to boost our sales. The biggest factor to your success here is whether you have managed to build a relationship of trust – did YOU get to KNOW your fellow members, do they LIKE you and most importantly do they TRUST you? If the answer is no to any of these, then you still have work to do. Have you ensured your constant visibility and credibility – by attending meetings, being seen on Facebook and the website – have you conducted yourself professionally and set yourself as the expert in your field? Use all of the resources given to you through the network to achieve these. (You have been hearing about many of these through my series of emails, or via my BLOGs) Finally, I cannot express enough, the value of “coffee connects” - a meeting outside of the network meetings. Here you get to know the other network member, you get to understand what they are trying to achieve in their business, what they need and how you can help them. They will do the same for you. It is when we really dig that we can see how we can help our fellow member.... when we do that, the law of reciprocity says, you too will receive.
